JOB OVERVIEW: The Ambulatory Clinical Education &amp; Training Specialist, in collaboration with and under the direction of department leadership, will provide educational and training services to the back office clinical roles (LPNs and Medical Assistants). The specialist will assist leadership with developing and overseeing new employee orientation and onboarding, and clinical education programs. Responsibilities include monitoring staff performance and establishing ongoing training for the implementation of new workflows, guidelines, policies and procedures. The specialist will provide valuable feedback to clinic leadership on observations of clinical quality, performance, and compliance with policies and procedures, while identifying areas where that require further training and education.

Cleans and stocks treatment areas or patient rooms as necessary, requested, or assigned.
</li>
<li>
Cleans all used instruments and equipment before CS pickup.
</li>
<li>
Restocks supplies and linen in all rooms.
</li>
<li>
Cleans all equipment, etc.
</li>
<li>
Assists in keeping work areas, equipment and supplies clean and orderly as outlined by hospital policy.
</li>
<li>
Clean and stock linen cart, stock blanket warmer.
</li>
<li>
Clean medicine room refrigerator each month or as requested.
</li>
<li>
Clean Dirty Utility room and Clean Utility room on each shift.
</li>
<li>
Clean employee lounge and refrigerator as assigned.
</li>
<li>
Clean refrigerator and store room when needed, on any shift as assigned.
</li>
<li>
Each shift; clean assigned stretchers and wheelchairs. If any are missing, check floors and bring back to the department.
</li>
<li>
Each shift, check BP cuffs, flashlights, suction heads, restraints, etc. in the rooms. If any are missing, replace.
</li>
<li>
Clean and restock carts specific to the unit; Cast, OD, Burn, Eye, Pelvic, Trauma, Difficult Intubation, Line Cart.
</li>
<li>
Once a month, clean all cupboards and drawers in all rooms.
</li>
<li>
Daily - check outdated supplies.
</li>
<li>
Completed check list and account for supplies/equipment each shift.
</li>
<li>
Assists with admitting duties as needed including admission documentation. (Specific to unit)

<li>
Coordinates daily activities with the charge nurse or zone lead.
