Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel - Cath Lab Tech

Shift: Days / 7:30a-4p (8x5) 40 hours per week, Plus call

Length: 13 weeks

The weekday call is from 4p-7:30a the next morning. Weekend call starts at 4p on Friday until 7:30a on Monday
Most staff works 10 hours shifts - shifts vary.

Requirements:

• NH License 
• 2 years experience
• Must have RCIS within 1 year of hire
• Advanced skills needed: Cath Lab experience
• BLS
• ACLS
• ARRT

• Documentation system: Meditech
• Floating policy: if no cases, may be asked to float – this is rare
• Number of Beds : 4 holding, 4 observation, 3 procedural rooms
• Patient Ratios: depends on if you are working in the procedural room or in holding.  3 people per team in procedural for 1 patient, generally 2 patients per nurse in holding (not for techs)
• Type of equipment: GE xray system, GE hemodynamics, Meditech documentation.  Many different types of procedural equipment
• Procedures performed on unit:  cardiac caths – PCI, STEMI, peripheral angiograms & interventions, implants – PPM/ICD/CRT-D, EP studies & ablations
