Huge hospital! Heavy patient load and high expectations for charting etc. plus every insulin dose must have two nurses to approve. Made some nice friends though and the bakery in the basement was wonderful!

Neuro ICU

The workload doesn’t match the compensation however this is typical of any large enterprise. The real benefit is what you’ll learn from a clinical perspective.

They continuously take overwork and take advantage of staff. It’s chaotic to say the least. Management or lack there of, is so completely removed from day to day practice. The knowledge base of clinicians is lacking greatly. I could go on but… just know the facility is terrible
