I signed a contract for nights for an intermediate care unit and the people were great. However, the facility’s float policy was frustrating. As a traveler, I understand we are usually the first ones to float and that’s fine. But when it’s only travelers that are floated, it gets frustrating because half of shifts were floated, sometimes more than once during a shift. No extra pay or some sort of compensation for it either.

I was hired to work there in 2005. The Caucasian staff routinely disrespected the African American staff,  including me. 
I finally filled an EEOC complaint,  and an investigation was done.  They were found to be racially discriminatory  in  their  actions, and required to do diversity training. 
Fast forward to 2023.
I met someone in California, who had just left there,  who said they were still treating the people of color horribly.
