I was hired for the trauma/burn ICU which I worked for maybe half the time. It was a good unit if I got to work more there and get more comfortable with the environment/heavy acuity. I mostly floated to be a sitter and I’d float multiple times a night. It was hard to be a sitter for half the week and when I floated to ICU they weren’t shy on giving the travel staff crazy heavy assignment. I’ve been a trauma ICU nurse for 8 years and it was a good challenge
