Norman Regional Health System (NRHS) is a multi-campus system that provides for the health and wellness needs of our regional communities throughout south central Oklahoma. Our acute-care facility on the Porter Avenue Norman Regional Hospital is licensed for 219 beds and offers a full range of services. Norman Regional was the first in the Oklahoma City – metro area to receive the Chest Pain Accreditation with PCI (Percutaneous Coronary Intervention) from the Society of Cardiovascular Patient Care (SCPC). Norman Regional Moore is a state-of-the-art $32 million dollar healthcare facility in Moore, Oklahoma. Norman Regional Moore houses physician offices, an emergency center that is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week and a community meeting space. Other services include diagnostic imaging, lab, and physical therapy.

Our Emergency Departments operate 24/7 and provide stabilization and life-saving care to 95,000+ patients each year. We operate as a Level III trauma center, take care of all medical emergencies, specialize in patients with active strokes and heart attacks, work with two dozen EMS agencies, and collaborate with ED physicians, residents, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners. Norman Regional ED has 45 beds, Moore ED has 13 beds and Nine ED has 12 beds. Job Summary

RN essential functions include, but are not limited to:

* Nursing Diagnosis and Outcomes - Analyzes assessment to determine nursing diagnosis and expected outcomes, involving patient, family and other healthcare providers as appropriate.
* Implementation and Coordination of Care - Provides nursing care through interventions to achieve goals and needs using professional judgement guided by current evidence-based practice, regulations and policy
* Evaluation - Evaluates patient outcomes by utilizing the critical thinking process and evidence based knowledge to recognize problems, evaluate facts and reach sound conclusions.
* Evaluates discharge needs related to plan of care utilizing resources as needed.

Qualifications

Education

* Diploma or Associate's degree (ADN) required, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), or Master's of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.

Experience
