Super sick patients, high ratios, supply chain, pharmacy and phlebotomy are lacking. There is transport.

Echo Technologist

Unit is run by bullies.  Charge nurses watch the cameras and micromanage. Supply system is worst Ive ever worked at. I spent more time looking for supplies than caring for patients.  2 “holding/boarding areas”. You get all the admits.  
Night shift is all travelers or contract.  Its basically unorganized chaos.  A few staff are life savers.  Icu nurses i had contact with were rude, overworked and the most unprofessional staff ive worked with ( in 14 yrs of nursing ive never written another nurse up until i got here).  If you weekends nights, its different.  Staff work as a team.  Charge nurse laid back.  Manager of dept micromanages and does not respect the nurses boundaries.  Also, I was cancelled as I was caring for 2 dying parents.  All in all, the worst travel assignment Ive had.  Most travelers I met left after first contract.
