<p>• Work night shifts Friday through Sunday from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM<br />
• Mix of 10-hour and 12-hour shifts available for days and nights<br />
• Schedule posted at least 2 weeks in advance<br />
• Float between General X-ray, Fluoroscopy, OR, ED, and Portables<br />
• Perform all general X-ray, fluoroscopy, and OR examinations<br />
• Handle 80-100 studies per 24-hour period<br />
• Must have own lead markers<br />
• Radiation badge required prior to starting assignment<br />
• 45-minute response time for occasional call requirements<br />
• Weekend requirement varies - may work every weekend or every other weekend depending on needs<br />
• Holiday requirement if scheduled day lands on the holiday<br />
• Required certifications: ARRT RT (R), BLS certification<br />
• Must have active license at time of submittal<br />
• Work with EMR system (EPIC) and PACS (SECTRA)<br />
• Any color scrubs allowed as long as professional appearance; hospital scrubs provided for OR work only<br />
• Typically 3 days of department orientation<br />
• Must be able to perform all general X-ray, fluoroscopy and OR exams</p>

      <p>American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring a WA or compact RN license and minimum two years of recent Med/Surg and Telemetry experience.</p>
      
            <h2>Responsibilities</h2>
            <ul><li>Work on the 7th floor Med/Surg Telemetry unit in an acute care hospital setting</li><li>32-bed unit with patient ratios of 4:1 or 5:1</li><li>Primarily serves medical/surgical overflow patients, with telemetry monitoring required</li><li>Shift is nights from 1900-0730 with self-scheduling and every other weekend required</li><li>Uses Epic EMR system</li><li>RNs are required to titrate drips including insulin and pain medications</li><li>RN must validate telemetry strips; centralized telemetry is in use</li><li>Nurse aides are present on the unit with average aide ratios of 8:1 or 10:1</li><li>Bipap and high flow equipment are utilized</li><li>Floating to other units may be required</li><li>Possible standby as needed, but no required on-call</li><li>Professional, clean attire is required; scrubs may be worn but jeans are not permitted</li><li>Must work one winter and one summer holiday during the contract</li><li>Responsibilities include titrating commonly used drips and validating telemetry strips</li><li>Highly functioning, supportive, and family-oriented team environment</li><li>Charge nurse and house supervisor support available on the unit</li><li>Travelers may not take requested time off during the first week of the assignment</li><li>Travelers who were employed directly by CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity within the past year are not eligible</li><li>Unit-specific orientation will be provided prior to starting regular shifts</li><li>First time travelers are welcome to apply</li></ul>
