Role Overview:
As a Early Intervention Occupational Therapist at Soar, you will:
<ul><li>Design and execute naturalistic occupational therapy for young children aged 2-6 years in a center-based environment.</li><li>Develop targeted interventions to enhance clients' gross motor, fine motor skills, feeding abilities, and performance in other daily activities.</li><li>Conduct comprehensive multidisciplinary assessments and formulate treatment plans in collaboration with other clinical domains (ABA, speech therapy, psychology), including conducting co-treatments with the speech therapy team.</li><li>Provide coaching and mentorship to a team of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), guiding them in integrating OT goals into their therapy sessions and supporting their professional development.</li><li>Regularly monitor client progress, revising treatment plans and objectives as needed, and ensuring effective communication with team members and families.</li><li>Forge strong partnerships with families, setting collaborative goals, fostering meaningful relationships, communicating progress, and offering dedicated coaching and support throughout their journey.</li></ul>
Qualifications:

What You'll Do
<ul><li>The BCBA will plan, oversee, deliver, and adapt naturalistic therapy for young children ages 2-6 years old in a center-based setting</li><li>Conduct multidisciplinary assessments and create treatment plans in coordination with other clinical specialties (speech, OT, ABA, psychology)</li><li>Design and implement services based on the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM). a play-based form of therapy</li><li>Be a part of an interdisciplinary care team including speech, occupational therapy, and mental health services</li><li>Monitor client progress, update treatment plans and goals, and communicate needed changes to team members and families</li><li>Partner with client families to develop goals, build relationships, communicate progress, and coach and support them in their journey</li></ul>
What You Have
<ul><li>Minimum of a master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, or a related field</li><li>Current BCBA certification</li><li>ABA early intervention experience</li><li>Preferred candidates have a background in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, or a related field</li><li>Embodiment of Soar’s Core Values: High expectations, Belonging, Trust, Collaboration, Continuous Improvement, and Fun</li><li>Clear professional communication, both verbally and in writing</li><li>Fluency in navigating devices such as computers and tablets</li></ul>

Soar Autism Center is seeking a dedicated Behavior Analyst, or Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our interdisciplinary team, committed to delivering outstanding care for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Our approach focuses on early intervention, integrated autism care, and a play-based ABA methodology, in line with the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM).
In your role as a Behavior Analyst at Soar, you will:
<ul><li>Devise and implement personalized, naturalistic ABA therapy for children aged 2-6 within a center-based environment</li><li>Work collaboratively with our clinical team, including specialists in speech, occupational therapy (OT), and psychology, to conduct comprehensive assessments and formulate effective treatment plans</li><li>Apply ESDM-informed ABA therapy strategies (training on this model is provided, prior experience with ESDM is not required).</li><li>Manage a caseload of approximately 7-8 clients</li><li>Perform standardized assessments to monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly</li><li>Establish and maintain positive relationships with families, offering guidance and support throughout their therapy journey</li></ul>
Qualifications:

Role overview:
<ul><li>Plan and implement naturalistic occupational therapy for young children ages 2-6 years old in a center-based setting</li><li>Develop interventions for young clients to support client gross motor skills, fine motor skills, feeding, and other activities of daily living</li><li>Conduct multidisciplinary assessments and create treatment plans in coordination with other clinical specialties (ABA, speech, psychology) as well as perform co-treatments with the speech therapy team</li><li>Coach and mentor a team of RBTs to effectively translate OT goals into their therapy, and support their career growth and progression</li><li>Monitor client progress, update treatment plans and goals, and communicate needed changes to team members and families</li><li>Partner with client families to develop goals, build relationships, communicate progress, and coach and support them in their journey</li></ul>
Qualifications
<ul><li>Have a Master’s or Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program</li><li>Have your license to practice occupational therapy </li><li>Preference to OTs with 3+ years of experience, but also open to new OTs starting their career</li><li>Embody a playful spirit and the ability to connect and engage with young children</li><li>Clear professional communication, both verbally and in writing</li></ul>
