As a Soar BCBA you will:

As a Soar BCBA you will:

Soar Autism Center is currently seeking a Speech Pathologist to join our dynamic team. Role Overview:
As a Speech Pathologist at Soar, you will:
<ul><li>Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in children with ASD</li><li>Design and implement comprehensive treatment plans to improve communication skills of children aged 2-6, utilizing a variety of therapeutic strategies and tools</li><li>Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team, including behavior analysts, occupational therapists, and psychologists, to provide holistic care</li><li>Engage families in the therapeutic process, providing education, resources, and support to enhance their child's communication development</li><li>Continuously monitor and document progress, adjusting interventions as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes</li></ul>
Qualifications
<ul><li>Desire to be a part of an organization working to advance the standard of autism therapy</li><li>Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program</li><li>License to practice speech pathology in the state of your chosen center (i.e., Arizona or Colorado)</li><li>Preference to SLPs with 3+ years of experience, but also open to new SLPs starting their career</li><li>Prior experience with AAC or interest in learning from our clinical teams</li><li>Embody a playful spirit and the ability to connect and engage with young children</li></ul>

Role overview:
<ul><li>Plan and implement naturalistic occupational therapy for young children ages 2-6 years old in a center-based setting</li><li>Develop interventions for young clients to support client gross motor skills, fine motor skills, feeding, and other activities of daily living</li><li>Conduct multidisciplinary assessments and create treatment plans in coordination with other clinical specialties (ABA, speech, psychology) as well as perform co-treatments with the speech therapy team</li><li>Coach and mentor a team of RBTs to effectively translate OT goals into their therapy, and support their career growth and progression</li><li>Monitor client progress, update treatment plans and goals, and communicate needed changes to team members and families</li><li>Partner with client families to develop goals, build relationships, communicate progress, and coach and support them in their journey</li></ul>
Qualifications
