What is an OR Circulate Nurse?

Operating room circulate nurses are registered nurses who specialize in assisting surgeons and other nursing and healthcare professionals during surgical procedures. Also called circulating nurses, they’re responsible for planning and implementing the nursing care that surgical patients receive before, during, and after procedures while helping maintain a safe, sterile operating room.
