Requirements: Valid VA or Compact RN license. BCLS (Basic Life Support) certification. Minimum of 2 years' experience in CVOR nursing. Must have experience as a traveling nurse—first-time travelers are not accepted. Strong cardiac scrub and circulate skills required. Experience with CABG, valve replacement, and endovascular procedures is a must. Ability to float to the General OR as needed. Special Skills & Experience: Circulate and scrub for CABG/valve replacement, TEVAR, EVAR, TAVAR, TCAR, and Laser Lead Extraction procedures. Experience in General OR procedures, including total joints, ortho, thoracic, robotics, neuro, trauma, ortho/spine, general, GYN, Uro, ENT, plastics, and dental (low volume). Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Additional Information: Ratios: 1:1 Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend. On-call Required: Yes (scheduled as needed for call, off-shifts, and holidays). Locals accepted: Yes Open to accommodating block scheduling at manager’s discretion.
