Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room Location: Rock Island, IL Contract Duration: 13 Weeks (Starting 02/16/2025) Shift: Night Shift Qualifications: Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois. Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Room or Critical Care setting. Strong ability to handle high-stress situations, quick decision-making, and multi-tasking effectively. Proficiency in basic and advanced life support, including ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), and BLS (Basic Life Support). Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment. Strong assessment, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to triage patients and prioritize care based on acuity. Knowledge of emergency medical procedures, trauma care, and disaster response protocols. Ability to maintain composure and act decisively in emergency situations. Willingness to work night shifts and adjust to varying schedules. Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification is preferred but not required. ENA (Emergency Nurses Association) membership and CEN (Certified Emergency Nurse) certification is a plus.
