Requirements:
<ul>
 <li>High School Diploma or GED equivalent.</li>
 <li>Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration</li>
 <li>Completion of a North Carolina State Approved Nurse Aide I course.</li>
 <li>Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required.</li>
</ul>
Key Responsibilities:

 <li>Nursing Process Participation: Participate in the implementation of the nursing process by providing direct care to patients under the guidance of the Registered Nurse (RN).</li>
 <li>Special Procedures: Execute special procedures accurately as directed by the Registered Nurse (RN).</li>
 <li>Safety and Therapeutic Environment: Establish and maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, co-workers, and the facility.</li>
 <li>Communication: Ensure complete, accurate, and timely communication of patient information to all relevant parties. Communicate effectively with the team, co-workers, patients, and family members in a positive and professional manner.</li>
 <li>Personal Responsibility: Take personal responsibility and initiative for your performance, professional growth, and development.</li>
 <li>Age/Developmental Specific Care: Provide patient care in line with Age/Developmental Specific Care Guidelines relevant to the age groups served.</li>

Skills/Qualifications:
<ul>
 <li>Strong oral and written communication skills.</li>
 <li>Ability to perform effectively even with frequent workload changes and competing demands.</li>
 <li>Basic computer skills.</li>
</ul>
 Work Environment:
<ul>
 <li>Interaction with patients, family members, visitors, co-workers, and medical staff in diverse situations.</li>
 <li>Regular exposure to blood-borne diseases, infectious, and contagious diseases.</li>
 <li>Subject to frequent interruptions.</li>
 <li>Occasional exposure to radiation hazards.</li>
 <li>Possible exposure to cleaning agents/chemicals.</li>
 <li>Occasional irregular hours may be required.</li>
 <li>Use of personal protective equipment when necessary.</li>
