Requirements:

• VA License
• Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Med Tech experience
• BLS
• NMTCB 
• ARRT required
• Independent work is required
• General Skills: IV starts, phlebotomy, EKGs, PACS
• Nuclear Med Procedure Experience: Cardiac, bone scan, brain scan, lung scan, renal flow, thyroid studies, SPECT, myocardial
• Traveler must be experienced and proficient
• Seasoned travelers preferred

Department Description: General nuclear med studies (bones, renals, gastric emptying, GI bleeds, HIDAs, Thyroid uptake/scan, parathyroids, VQ perfusions), cardiac and EPT/CT
Daily Caseload: 15-18Rooms: 4 & PET/CTAges: All ages. Adolescents-Geriatrics
Job duties: Prepare, administer, and measure radioactive isotopes in therapeutic, diagnostic, and tracer studies using a variety of radioisotope equipment. Prepare stock solutions of radioactive materials and calculate doses to be administered by radiologists. Subject patients to radiation.
REQUIREMENTS:*General Skills: IV starts, phlebotomy, EKGs, PACS*Nuclear Med Procedure Experience: Cardiac, bone scan, brain scan, lung scan, renal flow, thyroid studies, SPECT, myocardial*Certs : BLS, NMTCB*VA license (or) proof of application & proof of incumbent active license from another state and application of VA license*Expereince: Min 2 years of Nuc Med Tech experience.
