DON’T SUBMIT IF TRAVELER DOES NOT HAVE PEDS EXPERIENCE IN A CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL **RN MUST HAVE CA LICENSE IN HAND OR PENDING WITH ETAs of when it will post** Requirements: •Current CA RN license •BLS •PALS •2 years recent experience in a pediatric ED in a children's hospital - mixed adults/peds will be redirected • Experience with computerized charting • Triage experience, IV Start, Tele, Conscious Sedation Preferred: De-escalation Training Shift: • 3x12s contracts, variable shifts or straight NOCS • 4 weekend shifts per 4 week period • Can request blocked scheduling • No more than 6 days RTO. Only one holiday request off • 13 or 26 week contracts • Variable Shift explanation: Travelers will not be scheduled a day shift then a night shift. Variable means they can be scheduled any of our 7 different shifts depending on needs at that time. Generally, they may be scheduled 2 different shifts in a month however, they are similar shifts (i.e. 12/14, 7/9, 14/16, 16/19)
