Job Summary:Primarily responsible for applying the nursing process to the care of veteran patients undergoing surgical procedures in the operating room.-This includes, but is not limited to, assuring that appropriate documentation reflects assessment of patient needs, interdisciplinary treatment plans, clinical intervention, and evaluation of patients' responses to treatments.-Also responsible for assigning and evaluating the work of non-nursing direct care providers assigned to the operating room. Required Skills & Experience: -operating room ambulatory surgery -Float - only if needed perioperative services -Minimum qualifications required for services:-Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.-Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.-Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.Preferred Skills & Experience:-N/A BLS - AHA NIHSS NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license operating room ambulatory surgery 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Monday - Friday 5 x 8 No Weekends Required No Holidays Required No On Call Requirement Float - only if needed perioperative services
