Job Description: The Utilization Coordinator is responsible for coordinating admissions, performing concurrent and retrospective utilization review, and facilitating discharge planning. S/he also provides coordination of complex discharge planning needs and referrals to appropriate support services. Requirements: - CA RN Licensure - 2 years experience working in Utilization Management (admissions, utilization review, and/or discharge planning)*CCM-Certified Case Manager preferred*. Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma. - BLS (AHA) Shift: 5 x 8 Days, 08:30am-5pm. (0) No on-call requirement; variable weekends with expectation to work every other weekend
