Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) 3x12 Nights 7p-7:15a, weekdays, every other weekend *MUST HAVE NICU/PICU EXPERIENCE* Start Date: Every other week on Mondays (once fully cleared) Shift: 3x12 Nights 7p-7:15a, weekdays, every other weekend Work Setting Experience: Adult Critical Care, Emergency Department, Home Care, Long term Acute Care, NICU, Pediatric Critical Care, Pediatrics Skills Preferred: Airway Management Devices/Suctioning - Endrotracheal tube/suctioning, Extubation, Intubation Assist, Nasal airway placement, Nasal airway suctioning, Oral airway placement, Oropharyngeal/suctioning, Sputum specimen collection, Tracheostomy/suctioning; Care of the Patient With – ARDS, Aspiration, Bronchoscopy, COVID, Cystic fibrosis, Fresh tracheostomy; Medication Administration – Albuterol, Atrovent, Combivent, Flovent, Inhaled Flolan, Inhaled steroids, Mucomyst, Nitric Oxide (INo), Pulmicort, Racemic epinephrine, Spiriva, Tobramycin, Xopenex; Medication Delivery Systems - Aerosol set up mask, Aerosol set up trach, Metered dose inhaler; Nebulizer - Hand held, T-piece, Trach collar; Oxygen therapy - Bag and mask, ET Tube, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Trach collar; Ventilator Management – BiPAP, Flow-by , CPAP, High frequency oscillator, IMV (intermittent Mandatory Ventilation), Troubleshooting high pressure alarms, Weaning from mechanical ventilation; Neonatal/Pediatrics - Equipment/procedures - Assist in high risk delivery, Bivent, Bubble CPAP, Capillary blood gases, CPAP/Nasal CPAP/BIPAP, Assist in high risk delivery, Bivent, Bubble CPAP, Capillary blood gases, CPAP/Nasal CPAP/BIPAP; Care of the Infant/Child With - Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia, Near drowning, Respiratory distress syndrome, Respiratory syncytial virus, Transient Tachypnea of the newborn; Professional Knowledge and Skills - ABG interpretation, Basic EKG, Chest Physiotherapy, Drawing arterial blood gases Experience Required: minimum of at least 1 year First-timers accepted: Yes Weekend REQ: every other weekend Certs REQ: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NALS Is on-call REQ?
