Requirements:
- NC / compact license
- Minimum 2 years' experience (accept 1.5 w/ strong experience)
- Skills: IV Start and Telemetry
- Must pass EKG Testing prior to start for this specialty
- BLS
- NIHSS
- Electronic Documentation
- Unit will accept 1st timer
- Target Ratios: 1:6
- Float - occassionally
- Patient diagnoses: Patient Population: Surgery patients (colorectal, general surgery, hepatobiliary, orthopedics/spine).
- Unit systems: Pyxis, SBAR, EPIC
- Scrubs: navy blue or white
- COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline):Not Required
- Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline):Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only
