Some NICU crosstraining preferred Hospital:   Overland Park Regional Medical Center Location: Address: 10500 Quivira Road, Overland Park, KS 66215 Unit Name: Pediatrics Building: Main Hospital Building Cost Center:645 General Information Unit Specifics: ·          Number of Beds: 8 ·          Patient Ratios: typical ratio 2-3 patients/RN: 4:1 max as unit only allows 8 patients ·         Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability): Unit Secretary present at Children's entrance for visitor check-in; Nurse externs/PCTs as unit need ·          Type of equipment : Alaris pumps ·         Documentation system: Meditech ·          Scheduling requirements : Full time hours, Three 12-hour shifts per week; Weekend requirements; Holiday requirements as necessary ·          On Call Requirements : None ·         Floating policy: Women’s and Children’s Service Lines; NICU when low census in Pediatrics · Hospital Specifics- 343-bed facility offering acute medical care services. Free parking offered for staff.  Comprehensive pediatric services convenient to the Kansas City community. Services offered: "Kids Express" pediatric emergency rooms, a level-III NICU, dedicated child life specialists, pediatric outpatient services.
