Description
* Have the ability to perform a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation.
**Budget:**
* Keep supply use to a minimal and maintain overtime to 3% or less
**Liaison:**
* Serves as a liaison between staff, physicians, patients, and family members to ensure effective communication/interaction
* Ensures high quality health care is delivered at the West Point Facility and Radiology department by effectively interacting and cooperating with providers
**Reporting:**
* Prepares and presents patients reports/projects as required
* Maintains that exams and charges are correct on daily basis.
**Regulation**:
* Must have the training and experience to perform in the modality of two or more of the following modalities: CT, MRI, Mammography, and Diagnostic Radiology.
* Adheres to NMHS/NMMC Policies/Procedures/Guidelines
* Complies with applicable Local/State/Federal policies/procedures/guideline/regulations/laws/statues
**Requirements:**
* Graduate of AMA approved school. Registered or registry eligible by ARRT or RDMS in minimal of two modalities.
* Mississippi Medical Technical License (for MS facilties only)
* CPR required
* Excellent interpersonal skills; required
Job Knowledge:
* High School diploma. GED, or equivalent; Required
* Graduate of AMA approved school.
* Registered or registry eligible by ARRT or RDMS in minimal of two modalities preferred.
* Mississippi Medical Technical License; required
* CPR required
* Excellent interpersonal skills; required
