Job details

Under direction, oversees and conducts a variety of nursing services in the medical group office. Duties include assisting with patient assessments, administering medications, and maintaining accurate patient records.
All employees are expected to perform their duties as set forth here and in accordance with all policies, procedures, and Mission, Values, and Vision of Catalina Island Medical Center CIMC. The person doing this job is responsible for a variety of tasks that lead to a high level of customer satisfaction with respect and dignity.

Job requirements

Possesses a current license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of California.
Knows current trends and practices in nursing.
Prefer two years experience as a licensed practical nurse.
Current CPR certification in Basic Life Support.

Schedule information

Unit specific information

Back office duties including but not limited to, schedule patient appointments and follow-ups as needed, respond to patient calls, relay messages to providers, managing clinical inboxes, review patient documentation, stocking of the unit as needed.

Additional Details

Housing is a studio apartment and is offered at $200 per week paid for by the traveler.
There is a $200 non-refundable cleaning fee.
Boat Tickets are provided at the ferry ticket counter.
No personal automobiles are allowed on the Island.
