- PATIENT POPULATION: Adults - Geriatrics - Cath Lab Tech.
- REQUIRED SKILLS: ACLS, BLS, ARRT, RCIS, Experience with cardiac implant closure devices, cardiac stent placement, diagnostic catherizations, IABP placement/removal, interpretation of dysrhythmias, left heart catherizations, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA), rotabladder athrectomy, scrub procedures, equipment set up, recognition of life threatening arrhythmias, & sterile technique.
- SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS:
- RTO: MAX 7 days.
- WEEKEND: min 1 day per week / 1 weekend every 5 weeks.
- CALL REQUIREMENTS: One weekend and 4 call days in a 6 weeks schedule.
- HOLIDAYS: Requirements for working during major holidays are based on the number of holidays in the assignment period.
- COMPLIANCE: FULL compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule.
