Job Description

• Seeking a compassionate and team-oriented traveler RN for a fast-paced unit (3 West) with a welcoming culture.
• Experience Required:

  • 2 years of nursing experience
  • Med/surg and short stay experience
  • Telemetry experience preferred
  • First-time travelers considered based on experience

Patient Care

• Patient Ratio:

  • 1:5 during the day
  • 1:6 at night
• Floating Required: To 2W, CDU, and ARU

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Required Certifications

• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
• BLS - Basic Life Support
• NIHSS - National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale

Additional Requirements

• Health Documents:

  • Negative TB or Chest X-Ray within 1 year of start
  • Flu vaccine or medical/religious exemption required (Oct-March)
  • COVID vaccine or declination required
  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine within 10 years of start or declination
  • Drug testing (Negative 10 Panel Drug Screen within 1 year of start)

• Background Check:

  • 7 Year Search required within 1 year of start
  • Updated annually

• References:

  • 2 Professional References required within 3 years of start

• Education Verification:

  • Required

Competencies

• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam
• Competency Exam (Must score 80% or above)

Compliance Documents

• Required accounting documents and certifications as specified by the facility.
