Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes - will float within scope of practice.
Open to accommodating block schedule? Discuss schedule requests with manager.
Special Requirements: Must be in IL 3 business days prior to compliance HDD in order to meet fingerprinting requirements.

Job requirements

Years of experience REQ: Minimum 3 years' experience required.
Certs REQ: BLS required, CST preferred.
Is on-call REQ? Yes - required as needed for the department.
Pending License accepted: N/A - no license required for this role.
Required Work Setting Experience: General OR, Teaching Hospital, Trauma.
Required Case Skills / Experience: Direct Laryngoscopy, Radial neck dissection , and various surgeries including plastic, trauma, orthopedic, and neurosurgery.
Required Equipment / Instrumentation / Supplies Skills / Experience: Drills, Electrosurgical units, Fiber optic light sources/cords.
Required Professional Knowledge and Skills: Aseptic Technique, Isolation Precautions, Radiation Safety, Sharps Safety, Specimen Handling/Labeling, Universal Protocol.

Schedule information

Shift: 4 Evenings (10 hours) 10:45-21:15 + (10 hours) 12:45-23:15
Weekend REQ: Yes - Weekends are once a month with a total of 16 hours of obligation.
Locals accepted: No - must live >50 miles from facility to apply.
RTO Restrictions: Discuss RTO with manager - all time off must be reviewed and approved by manager.

Additional Details

Teaching Hospital Experience Preferred.
Trauma Level I Experience Required.
