  • Current, Active, Permanent State of Arizona Respiratory Care Practitioner license.
  • Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) from the NBRC.
  • Current BLS certification for Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association.
  • Current PALS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC) membership preferred.
  • NRP preferred.
    Job details
  • COVID-19 vaccination is recommended but not required. Flu vaccination will be required October through April. Flu exemption applications must be received and approved by the hospital prior to starting.
  • Anyone not vaccinated for either Flu or COVID-19 will be required to sign Declination & Masking Protocol agreements and must mask during the full respiratory virus season.
  • This assignment may float between our three campuses: Main Campus, Avondale Campus, and Arrowhead Campus.
  • Days and nights available, shift will be decided during interview.
  • This position facilitates and administers respiratory care, including routine and complex procedures, using a wide variety of techniques and equipment.
  • Ensures care meets quality standards established by the hospital, department and regulatory agencies.
  • Maintains all skills and knowledge sufficient to provide safe, effective, and developmentally appropriate care to all ages of patients from neonate to adolescent.
  • This position also participates in executing quality improvement initiatives.
    Job requirements
  • Two (2) years experience as a licensed respiratory therapist.
  • Minimum of one (1) year pediatric critical care experience.
  • Level III or IV NICU experience strongly preferred.
    Schedule information
  • Days and nights available, shift will be decided during interview.
