Labor and Delivery - 3x12 Nights
Call: 24 hours in 6 weeks
100 to 120 deliveries a month
14 beds family birth place, 9 in special care nursing
Level 2
Minimum of 2 years experience
Nurse Patient Ratio – 4:1 mom baby, 2:1 labor and delivery, 1:1 when active
Ancillary assistance: secretary, scrub tech
Midwives on unit
5 days of new team member orientation, 4 in class, 1 on the floor
UM-UCH supplies sterile scrubs
Current computer system is meditech, going to EPIC next year
Mom centered care

Job requirements
