Job Description

The position is for an Ultrasound Technician specializing in Radiology and Cardiology. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the field. First-time travelers are accepted with at least 3 years of recent experience.

Requirements

• Certifications Required:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography)

• Additional Requirements:

  • Must reside within 100 miles of the facility
  • RTO (Request Time Off) must be submitted at the time of application. Memorial Day and July 4th off are not permitted.

Additional Information

Certifications

• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (required for specific departments)
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (required for specific departments)
• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure (required for specific departments)
• TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course (preferred for ER)
• EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring (required for L&D)
• Tech Certifications - National certification required for various tech positions (e.g., Ultrasound Techs require ARDMS certification).

Health Documents

• Physical Exam - Required within 1 year of start, must attest to good physical health.
• Fit Mask - 3M N-95 fit test required prior to start.
• Vaccinations - Various vaccinations required, including Flu and TB tests.

Background and History Checks

• Background Check - Required within 60 days of start.
• References - Two recent professional references are required.

Dress Code

• Specific scrub colors are required based on the role (e.g., Navy Blue for RNs, Caribbean Blue for RRTs).
