- Job Title: Radiologic Technologist-Interventional
- Demonstrates compliance with Code of Conduct and compliance policies.
- Obtains appropriate medical history before patient examination and prepares patient for exam.
- Assists physician with the appropriate diagnostic procedures as ordered.
- Performs angiographic and interventional procedures with physician.
- Maintains cleanliness of all radiology equipment and procedure rooms.
- Required: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
- Required: California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license with fluoroscopy permit
- Required: American Heart Association BLS
- Two (2) years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist
- One (1) year of scrub experience
- Extensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, sterile technique and universal precautions
- Ability to operate radiologic equipment
- Ability to prioritize workload
- Good communication skills
- Knowledge of patient’s age specific needs
- Knowledge of diagnostic and interventional procedures in assigned area
- Ability to produce radiographs and practice radiation safety procedures
- Positive interpersonal skills with staff, patients, families and physicians
