Years of experience REQ: 2+ years - Experience with routine newborn care, ability to attend deliveries and resuscitate infants at delivery. Ability to transition infants after delivery
Years of experience Preferred: 2 + years' experience with level 2 babies (premature deliveries, 32 weeks and above)
First-timers accepted: NO
License REQ: SC or Multi State/Compact RN license
Certs REQ (MUSC only accepts American Heart Association (AHA)): BLS, NRP
Certs Preferred: STABLE

Schedule information

Shift: Will accept 3x12s or 4x12s - 6:45p-7:15a, Holiday rotation
Ratios: 1:3
Weekend REQ: Every other weekend as needed
Is on-call REQ? (Y/N): Yes, 2 on-call shifts every 6 weeks for those working 3x12s
Open to accommodating block schedule? (Y/N): Requires managers approval upon request. Dependent on unit's needs

Unit specific information

Floating is required to sister units.
As the nursery RN, they may catch and transition babies in L&D within the 1st 2-3 hours of life.
May also be expected to float to Mom-Baby where they could take a newborn assignment. (Mom-Baby/Couplet Care preferred)

Locals Accepted: Yes, locals will be considered at 10% less than the non-local rate
RTO Restrictions for Client Offers: All RTO must be included at time of submission. Approval will be based on facility needs
