  • York Hospital is currently seeking a Full-time, 36 hour per week, Sunday, Tuesday and Saturday, 12 hour shifts from 6:30 am to 7:00 pm.
  • No call is required.
  • Must provide care appropriate to the condition and age of patients, including geriatric, pediatric and general population.
  • Staff is responsible for the care and safety of patients and maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.
  • Staff is responsible for communicating the mission and vision of the hospital as well as developing effective working relationships with patients, physicians and path members.
    Job requirements
  • Must provide care appropriate to the condition and age of patients, including geriatric, pediatric and general population.
  • Performs procedures for MRI (using and building protocols)
  • Screens patient for any contraindications pertaining to exam and to follow any necessary Safety requirements per ACR and facility protocols
  • Interviews patient to explain magnetic resonance imaging procedures to address patient concerns and exhibits a high degree of tact, courtesy and poise when interacting with patients, staff, and visitors
  • Educates patient on procedures and answer any questions
  • Ensures patient and staff safety, including explaining safety protocol, requesting removal of hazardous metal objects, and alerting staff of danger or carrying metal around magnet
  • Monitors patients at all times, visually and verbally
  • Operates other equipment necessary for daily duties and patient care
  • Maintains a clean and orderly environment for promoting good safety habits for patients and coworkers
  • Maintains and reports on equipment status
  • Helps monitor inventory
  • Perform other related duties as necessary
  • Education and Experience: Associates Degree or Certificate from Two-year college, University, or Certificate based program.
    Schedule information
  • Full-time, 36 hour per week
  • Sunday, Tuesday and Saturday, 12 hour shifts from 6:30 am to 7:00 pm
