<li><b>Start Date:</b> ASAP (4 weeks from offer for compliance requirements if candidate has AK license in hand).

<li><b>Shift:</b> Variable Day/Night 12 hr shift 7a or 7p

<li><b>Ratios:</b> 1 nurse up to 2 pts

<li><b>Years of Experience REQ:</b> accepting all ICU experienced nurses. Travel experience is preferred.

<li><b>Epic REQ?</b> 1 year of experience preferred.

<li><b>First-Timers Accepted:</b> Yes

<li><b>Weekend REQ:</b> TBD

<li><b>Certs REQ:</b> AK RN, ACLS, PALS, BLS

<li><b>Skills REQ:</b> 1 year of Epic experience is preferred. Tele interpretation, ventilators, and IV insertion, PICC lines are the skills required.

<li><b>Is on-call REQ?</b> No

<li><b>Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs?</b> Yes, to Med Surg/COVID/LTC if needed.

<li><b>Open to accommodating block schedule?</b> TBD

<li><b>Locals Accepted:</b> No

<li><b>Pending License Accepted:</b> would prefer they already have their Alaska License but not required. If they don't start date must be set 10-12 weeks out.

<li><b>Guaranteed Hours:</b> 36 GWW

<li><b>Top 10 Diagnosis/Procedures:</b> CHF, Diabetes, COPD, AKI,Bowel Obstructions, Appendicitis, Chest Pain, Recovery, Cardioversions, DKA

<li><b>Any special procedure done on the unit?</b> Cardioversions, Tikosyn

<li><b>Common Equipment:</b> Glucometer, sequential compression device, bucs traction, walker, gait belt, phillips monitoring, pressure reduction/ air beds, dinamapp, chair alarms, hoyer lift, sara steady, bladder scanner, vein finder,zoll, PAPR, kangaroo pump, syringe pump, telemetry, wheelchairs, CPM machine, Stryker T-pump, IV pump
