Job details

Travel/Contract position for Registered Nurse in Columbus, OH.
Medical Oncology with progressive care beds/pediatric patients.
High acuity of PCU and ICU/ candidate with PCU/ICU experience preferred.
May float to Med/Surg.
Unit Info Patient Diagnoses include Solid tumor, Orthopedic oncology, Thoracic oncology.
Special Procedures/Unit Details include Medical Oncology with progressive care beds and pediatric patients.
Special Equipment includes B450 monitors GE telemetry system, Bladder Scanner, Alaris pumps, and Stryker beds.

Job requirements

2 Years of Oncology Experience Preferred but not required.
Certs: BCLS.
Ratio: 1:4.
Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity.
PREVIOUS TRAVEL EXPERIENCE PREFERRED!
Skills Required: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Accessing Ports, Arterial line management, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, PICC line management, IV START, Assist with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal, high Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), interpretation of ABGs.

Schedule information

NO SET SCHEDULE, NO SET WEEKEND, NO BLOCK SCHEDULE, THE FACILITY DETERMINES THE COMPLETE SCHEDULE (COULD POSSIBLY END UP WORKING EVERY WEEKEND).
MUST BE FLEXIBLE.

Unit Details: Medical Oncology with progressive care beds, pediatric patients, and NIH.

Additional Details

Check UD/Unit Cost Center Link to determine certifications required per unit.
Travelers can renew ACLS at the facility.
Required for ER, ER OB, and ER Psych.
NIH required for ER and all Critical Care RNs (ICU, MICU, SICU, Neuro ICU, CVICU, and Critical Care Float).
