This license is required by the state of NY in order to staff for temporary needs.

Thank you! As of 1/1/2024 - ALL new AND returning agency staff must have completed training from one of the following groups for onboarding and clearance.
Unit Details: Consist of mainly tele/cardiac patients. # of Beds in unit: 16. RN to Patient ratio: 4:1. Patient Population: Adult - Geriatric. Dress code: any color scrubs. Remote Tele Unit. MUST be able to follow & comfortably meet Department expectations to interpret, measure & document cardiac rhythms 2x/shift.

Job requirements

MUST HAVE EPIC EXPERIENCE - NON-NEGOTIABLE.
3 years experience required.
Must be comfortable and hit the ground running working Nights.
Strong proficiency & experience working on Cardiac/Tele, Med-Tele Units - Required.
Previous travel experience: strongly encouraged.
Must have telemetry experience.
MUST be able to comfortably follow Department expectations to interpret, measure & document cardiac rhythms 2x/shift.
Neuro/stroke experience encouraged.
Please disclose any previous Glens Falls Hospital (or Albany Med) experience on profile.
NO BLOCK SCHEDULING WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS NEED.

Unit specific information

Dress Code: Personal scrubs of any color - No designs or cartoons. No hoodies.
Non-Billable Orientation: 8hrs.
Multipliers (OT, Holiday, Call-Back): 1.25%. Call: 4.00 (Not applicable to this need). Charge: 3.00 (Not applicable to this need).

Additional Details

Traveler candidate must have their own vehicle. This is a firm requirement.
Clinician MUST be reliable! No attendance concerns, call outs, etc... - very patient oriented.
Profile Requirements: Work History, Skills Checklist (pertinent to position), current to 1 year, 1 Supervisory Signed Reference (from within the past two years of employment), License/Certifications - Must be uploaded with profile (Current NY License, ACLS, BLS).
Permanent address must be included in profile. Address must match Driver License/State ID. Address will be validated during compliance process.
Travelers from specific counties in New York will not be considered for travel assignments at Glens Falls.
