  • RTO after booking is not allowed and is not allowed to be worked out onsite.
  • Any call offs or additional RTO on unit could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR.
  • RATIOS: 1:5-6
  • Unit will accept contracts from 13 weeks+ up to March 15, 2025 (hard stop) to get the Unit through the Holidays!
  • 36 hrs only
  • SHIFT: 12HR DAYS
  • Travelers are required to work every other weekend
  • ***RTO -7 DAYS MAX*** if RTO includes weekends, time will be added to end of contract to make up for those dates.
  • PATIENT DIAGNOSES: We care primarily for Stroke patients, but also care for possible Neurosurgery patients as well as other Neuro diagnoses, such as Epilepsy, Traumatic and non-traumatic subdural hematomas, and many more
  • SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: We have a 4 BED Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) that is considered Intermediate level and that nurse has 4:1
  • 42 daily census. 43 rooms/beds
  • UNIT SYSTEMS: PYXIS, EPIC, SBAR
  • UNIT ORIENTATION: 36 Hours
  • SCRUBS: Navy
  • Block scheduling is not always going to be able to be guaranteed
  • MUST HAVE MED/SURG EXPERIENCE
    Job requirements
  • Minimum Years of Experience: 1 Year Experience in MedSurg
  • Traveler Experience: Unit WILL NOT Accept 1st Time Travelers (Must have at least 1 year of travel experience. Prefer 2 years previous travel experience)
  • Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: Yes
  • Skills: IV Start and Telemetry, Interpretation of dysrhythmias and Management of dysrhythmias, Med/Surg neuro EXPERIENCE
