Experience in an inpatient setting is required, Med/Surg, Colostomy care, Accessing Ports, Blood Product Administration, Central line blood draw, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Heparin, Insulin, Chemotherapy Administration, Monitoring Chemotherapy, Surgical drains, Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleur-evac, Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac

- Chemotherapy administration certification is required prior to start; required to obtain prior to start.

Job requirements
- Shift:NIGHTS; Unit will accept contracts from 13 weeks+ up to March 15, 2025 (hard stop) to get the unit through the holidays!
- RTO: 7 days MAX - NO CHRISTMAS RTO; 36 or 48 hours. If 48 then no OT billed until after 48.
- Call Requirement: Call required if called off on a prescheduled shift.
- Float Requirement: Floating required to similar units and alternate care locations with inpatients holding, such as inpatient holding in the ED, or any alternate medical patient care location.
- Weekend Requirement: *EVERY OTHER WEEKEND REQUIRED.
Schedule information
- Daily Census 42. During times of increased census, typical ratios may be higher.
Unit specific information
- Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty, or disaster.
- Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid contract may occur and the contract staff may be preassigned to units as needed.
