- Traveler will automatically be declined if licenses and/or certifications are expiring during the assignment.

- The Surgical Technologist prepares the Operating Room prior to surgery, provides assistance to the surgeon, and cares for the patient and instruments during surgery.
- The incumbent possesses knowledge and skills to assist in effectively caring for patients of all age groups.
- Experience in an Academic Level 1 - Trauma center or similar size hospital is required.
- Prior traveler experience highly preferred.
- Minimum two years of scrub experience or equivalent relevant experience required.
- Strong cardiovascular, endovascular and peripheral vascular experience.
- 4's for cardiovascular, endovascular and peripheral vascular skills on skills checklist.
- Transplant experience required.
- Successfully completed a surgical technologist program. Two years experience in a Surgical Technologist role may be considered in lieu of program completion.
- Needs 2 completed references from recent work environment (supervisor or manager only) from work performed in the last two years.
- Traveler must be able to work the schedule posted for the unit.
- Travelers are the first to float to floors working with children up to 1 year of age and/or based on the traveler's competency skills/experience.
- Travelers may have shifts scheduled in multiple units or locations within the organization depending on staffing needs.
- Shifts may be re-assigned to another unit if the primary unit no longer has a need, in order to complete the contract.
- UW Health is moving to .docx, .xlsx, and .pptx file formats. Other file formats will be blocked by the IS department.
