Job requirements
- Shifts: 0645-1515 M-F
- Call Requirements: 1-2 times per week, 1515-0645; every 3-4 weeks Fri 1515-Mon 0645
- Holiday Call Requirements: Rotating holidays, must be willing to work holidays
- Call response time: 15 minutes, 8-hour reprieve shifts for post-call
- Orientation: 3-4 days hospital clinical plus unit orientation, 2 buddy call shifts
Schedule information
- # of Suites: 2 CVOR suites
- Average # of cases per day: 1-3 (thoracic, vascular, and CV cases included)
- Common Cases: Open hearts (CABG, Valve, aneurysms), thoracotomies, VATS, etc.
- Scrubbing not required for RNs

Unit specific information
- Charge Nurse for all shifts 7a-11p M-F, weekends 7a-7p, manager until 4p M-F
- EMR: EPIC
- Self-scheduling and block scheduling available for CV RNs
- Scrub Color/Dress Code: Provided
- Radius Rule: 50 miles; candidates may not be associated with any facility of CommonSpirit
