Job Opportunity: Cath Lab Tech

Employment Details

• Type: Travel
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: ASAP
• Guaranteed Hours Per Week: 48 (36 hours will not be accepted)

Shift Requirements

• Shift: 12 Hour Days (7 AM - 7 PM)
• On Call Requirements: 7-8 days in a 6-week period
• Weekend/Holiday Requirements: One to two weekends every six weeks and holidays as needed

Qualifications

• Required Certifications:

  • BLS through AHA
  • ARRT (Rad Tech License)
  • Kentucky State License
  • EKG certification
• Minimum Experience: 2+ years
• Charting Experience: Epic
• Required Skillset:

  • Assisting with catheter insertion into the heart
  • Measuring and administering special fluids
  • Ensuring EKG equipment is operational prior to surgery
  • Monitoring EKG readouts during procedures

• COVID Vaccine Requirements: Required unless medical or religious declination applies. If a declination applies, the traveler/agency will be responsible for weekly PCR testing at their cost.
