Job Description

• Shift: 8 Hour Days
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Experience Required: Minimum 2 years
• Special Requirements: Ambulatory OR experience; first-time travelers are welcome.

Required Certifications

• California RN License
• AHA BLS (Basic Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure) - required for Respiratory Care Practitioners
• CNOR (Certified Nurse, Operating Room)
• CCRN (Critical Care RN)
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
• EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring)

Additional Requirements

• Government-Issued Photo ID: Current/Valid required.
• Primary Source Verification: Required within 30 days of start.
• Drug Testing: Required within 30 days of start.
• Background Check: Required within 30 days of start.
• References: Two supervisor references required (Charge RN acceptable).
• Skills Checklist: Required.
• Employment Application: Copy of candidate resume must be included.
• Work History Verification: Required for the last 5 years of work history.
• Education Verification: 3rd party education verification required (highest degree).

Health Documents

• Physical Exam: Documentation required to confirm ability to perform essential job functions.
• Mask Fit Test: Required within 1 year of start and updated annually.
• Vaccination Records:

  • Tdap
  • Negative TB or Chest X-Ray
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)
  • Hepatitis B
  • Varicella
  • Flu Seasonal Vaccination/Documentation
  • COVID-19 Vaccination (including booster)

Competencies

• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam: Required as applicable by profession.
• Competency Exam: Required as applicable to profession/specialty.

Facility Specific Documents

• Job Descriptions: Required for RNs and LVNs.
• Emergency Contact Information: Candidate must complete.
• COVID Exemption Forms: Required if applicable.
