Job Description

  • Facility: A brand new state-of-the-art facility opening in May 2025, the Jack & Sheryl Morris Cancer Center, New Jersey’s first freestanding cancer hospital.
  • Shift Time: 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM
  • Cases per Day: 5-10
  • Experience Required: 3+ years
  • First-Time Travelers: Accepted
  • Weekend and Holiday Requirements: Every other weekend and holiday as applicable
  • On-Call Requirements: Maximum of 3 nights in a seven-day period from 5 PM to 7 AM
  • Scheduling: No block scheduling
  • Local Candidates: Accepted
  • Licenses/Certifications Required:
    • New Jersey License
    • BLS (Basic Life Support)
    • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
  • Skills Required:
    • Scrub and circulate
    • Sterile procedure, equipment setup, closure devices
    • Familiarity with EKOS, GE, and Phillips Angio Suites
    • Experience with EPIC: Radiant and Q-site charting
  • Scrubs: Provided by the hospital

Additional Information

  • Documentation Requirements:
    • Various accounting documents and certifications are required for clearance.
    • Certifications such as ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support), BLS, and others may be required depending on the specific role within the facility.
  • Health and Safety:
    • Compliance with health documents including TB tests, vaccinations, and fit testing for respirators may be required.
  • Background Check:
    • A criminal background check is required within 30 days of the start date.
