Guaranteed Hours Per Week: 36

Minimum Experience: 2 years IMC/PCU/Tele experience required and MUST HAVE 1 YEAR STRONG CARDIAC EXPERIENCE (Cardiac SDU/Intermediate Cardiac/Cardiac ICU)

Candidates cannot move forward in the interview process without experience with Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Nitro Drips

Required: at least ONE travel assignment must be completed

1 year recent EPIC charting experience required

44 Bed Intermediate cardiac stepdown. Fast-paced, high patient turnover. Post-op CABG/Valve, thoracotomy, Vascular, Arrhythmia, CHF, Post-procedure cath, pacer, defib, ablations, Acute CP/MI, med/surg overflow i.e., detox, DKA, COPD exac, respiratory failure. Patient ratio typically 1:4

BLS and ACLS certifications

Must be able to pass EKG test 1st week of hire

Float to all inpatient units as needed

On Call/Call Back Requirements: Able to take call if wanted

Weekend/Holiday Requirements: Every other weekend. Every other holiday

Unit Information: 44 Bed Intermediate cardiac stepdown, high patient turnover, various conditions treated and procedures done

Social candidates: Able to manage independently and complete tasks timely

Scrub Colors: N/A

GSA hours are not guaranteed the week of Orientation. Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where the unit is closed.
