- *DCH is unable to accommodate RTO requests for the following holiday dates: 11/28, 11/29, 12/24, 12/25, 12/31, 1/1.
- Margin/OT Billing Rules for candidates contracted for 48 hours: OT is billed after 48hrs.
- ITC & perm staff must be separated from DCH for at least 6 months before returning as a traveler.
- Locals are welcome to submit.
- Specialty: MS/Tele, 36H or 48H available.
- Med Surg & MS/Tele Ratios: 1:5/6 with occasional 1:7. This is a fast pace/high case load facility – please ensure candidates are cleared on the job requirements prior to submitting.
- First-time travelers are accepted.
- Floating Required: Must be willing to float within specialty and between campuses (4.5 miles away).
- EMR experience required though Meditech Expanse training is covered during orientation.
- Perm staff must have been termed for 6 months and must be greater than 85 miles from the facility.
Job details
- Experience Required: 2 years.
- Certifications required: BCLS.
- Skills required: MS/Tele and Telemetry Experience, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency Response experience, Post MI, IV Insulin Protocols, Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management and Renal Failure, IV Therapy/Phlebotomy, PCA, CVA, Surgical Drains, and Respiratory/Thoracic experience.
- Skills preferred: Experience with Traumatic Brain Injuries, Ortho Trauma, Peripheral Nerve Block Catheters, and Total Joint Replacements.
Job requirements
- Every other weekend required.

- Unit Information: Patient diagnoses include Nephrology, Telemetry, Dialysis patients, and some surgical patients.
- Patient Age Groups: Adults and Geriatrics
- 32 Beds
- Must pass cardiac exam during orientation.
Unit specific information
- Government issued photo ID is required prior to the start date.
- Emergency Contact Form is required.
- E-Verify is required.
- ACLS is required for specified specialties and is preferred for some others, as detailed in the documentation.
- BLS is required for Medical Lab Technicians and not required for Phlebotomists.
- PALS is required for specified specialties.
- NRP is required for specified specialties.
- CHEMO, TNCC, and EFM certifications are preferred or required for certain specialties, as outlined.
- Tech Cert Verification - National is required for Medical Lab Technicians and preferred for Phlebotomists.
