Job details

Position: MedSurgical Float Pool Nurse
Hours: 3 x 12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30AM
Total Hours: 36 hours per week
Responsibilities: Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a MedSurgical setting, Flexibility to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity as needed, Availability for weekdays and some weekends, including holidays.

Job requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a MedSurgical setting
Current BCLS certification
Proficient in IV start and telemetry monitoring
Experience with EPIC electronic health records system
Ability to handle patient ratios of 1:4-5
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail

Schedule information

3 x 12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Unit specific information

Check UD/Unit Cost Center Link to determine certifications required per unit. AHA only (Instructor/Provider and RQI acceptable). Letter of completion not acceptable. Travelers can renew certifications at the facility.

Additional Details

Required if candidate is using a compact license from any state other than Ohio.
