Job Description

The Registered Staff Nurse (RN) provides holistic care to customers and families, focusing on independent, collaborative, and delegated nursing functions. The RN's scope of practice includes caring for patients across all age groups, from neonates to older adults. Key responsibilities include:

• Executing the Standards of Nursing Practice:

  • Assessment
  • Nursing diagnosis
  • Outcome identification
  • Planning
  • Implementation
  • Evaluation
• Developing and revising the customer’s plan of care
• Coordinating care among disciplines
• Delegating activities to other care providers
• Participating in shared accountability and decision-making for nursing practices
• Implementing personal leadership qualities to improve practice standards and the environment of care

Requirements

• Experience:

  • 2 years of Medical Surgical Experience (Required)
  • 2 years of Acute Care RN Experience in a Hospital Setting (LTC experience will not be considered) (Required)
• Certifications:

  • BLS (Required)
• Licensure:

  • Active Minnesota License (Required)
