- Number of Beds – 146 (64 Level 3&4, 82 Level 2)
- Type of staff: Day Shift – 2 charge, nurses vary by census and acuity, clerk, nurse tech in L2. Night Shift – same as day shift.
- Patient Ratios – varies by acuity 1:1, 1:2, 1:3, 1:4
- Type of equipment – All NICU equipment
- EMR – Meditech & CPN
Job details
- Two years of NICU experience
- Infant assessment, IV management, Respiratory support management
- Level 4 NICU experience (preferred)
- HCA experience (preferred)
- LP, central line placement
- Circumcision, eye exams
- Strong communication skills, Great team mate, Focus on parent satisfaction and patient safety
Job requirements
- Weekends and On call(if any) - Minimum of 4 weekend shifts and 2 M/F per 4 week schedule, holidays per unit guidelines
Schedule information
- Patient Ratios – varies by acuity 1:1, 1:2, 1:3, 1:4
- Type of equipment – All NICU equipment
- Floating Area(s) - All NICU areas, General Nursery, Pediatrics with infant assignment
- Dress Code - Scrub Color/Attire - royal blue
- Unit Guidelines/Policies - Bare below the elbows to include 'naked nails'
