- Patient Experience requirements: Expected to provide attentive and compassionate care to patients/family members.

- Procedures performed on unit: Insertion of central lines, arterial lines, lumbar punctures, chest tube insertions, EVD insertions.
- Scheduling requirements: Minimum weekend requirement is 4 weekend shifts per schedule. Schedule is done in 4 week increments. Self-scheduling to an extent. Manager will move shifts to balance out schedule.
- Floating policy: Contract labor is first to float. If the staffing need is in med/surg, contract labor is expected to float to med/surg and take the assignment.

- Number of Beds: 20
- Patient Ratios: 2:1, sometimes 1:1 depending on acuity.
- Unit staffing description: Occasional nurse extern working as a tech.
- Type of equipment: Ventilators, EVDs, CRRT, SLED, EV 1000, traction.
- Documentation system: Meditech
- Dress Code: Navy scrubs, tops and bottoms
