Job requirements
- 12 hr shifts.
- Shift starts at 645.
- Report is at the bedside.
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend.
- Holidays: Rotate in with core staff.
- Schedules are out 4 weeks.
Schedule information
- Floating to all other Sacramento facilities is possible.
- Floor specific orientation: 1 - 2 days on the floor with preceptor.
- Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Pre and fresh postop CABG, LVADs, Empallas, IABP, TAVRs, CRRT, all critical drips, Swan monitoring.
Unit specific information
- ACLS, BLS, NIHSS; Med Sol prescreens/manager will conduct a 2nd interview/review.
- Need 2 supervisor references (charge accepted) at submittal; 1 within 12 months & 1 within 3 years worked.
- Modules are required to be completed before start. Modules take 3-4 hours - not billable.
- Candidates may not have been directly employed by any facility associated with CommonSpirit within the past year.
- Prior to acceptance, the Dys exam through Relias or UNA is required along with acceptance. Must be completed within 24-48 hours.
