Schedule information

Shifts: 12 hrs 7-7, self scheduling to some degree, schedules made out about 30-45 days in advance
Weekend Requirement: every other or 4 weekend shifts in a 4 week schedule
Floor specific orientation: 2-3 days, one of those days - half of the day is spent doing a scavenger hunt

Unit specific information

Common diagnosis / Types of patients: medsurg patients, COPD, post-op, GI bleeds, OBGYN surgeries, ortho

Additional Details

Nights, EOW, First to Float
Very fast paced unit, patients move in and out quickly, avg length of stay is 3 days
May see protonix or heparin drip
Pediatric experience preferred, if traveler does not have that experience they will not take pediatric patients
